About CliniPool
CliniPool was born from a simple observation: pool and hot tub care is drowning in contradictory advice, dubious generic doses and jargon. Our answer comes in two tools: this site, which explains clearly what’s happening to your water and what to do about it, and the app (iOS/Android), which does the part no article can do honestly — calculate the exact doses for YOUR pool and guide you step by step.
Our method
Everything we publish follows the same rules. Accuracy first: our protocols are based on public health guidance (WHO, European health agencies) and on the actual labels of European products — the app’s calculation engine is calibrated against more than a thousand products on the EU market and verified by millions of automated simulations. Clarity second: no unexplained jargon, no scaremongering, no “it’s complicated” — your water follows logic, and that logic can be explained. Honesty always: when a problem needs a professional or genuine patience, we say so.
Why we never publish a dose
It’s our most visible editorial choice, and it deserves an explanation. The right dose depends on your volume, your product (and its concentration), your current level, your stabiliser, the temperature… Two “identical” pools can need anywhere from one to three times the amount. Publishing “500 g per 50 m³” would therefore be guesswork at best — at worst, the cause of an overdose followed to the letter by someone who trusted us.
We’d rather explain everything else — the causes, the order of operations, the traps, the prevention — and leave the maths to the tool that knows your numbers: the app, with its built-in overdose safeguards. It’s not withholding information, it’s rigour: a dose without your readings is a random number, and nobody should be giving you one.
Who we are
CliniPool is an independent European app, designed and built in Europe, available in 27 languages. We don’t sell chemicals and we have no hidden brand partnerships: when the app recommends a product category, it then doses with the one you own, scanned or picked from a catalogue of more than 1,000 European references.
